Happy Xmas, War is Over~

Clinical was the last station for my one-year housemanship and I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed TDM. Interestingly, when I was in this rotation, I was alone with another colleague - Mar. For the record, despite only 2 housemen, both of us ran Clinical Wards pretty well. The male medical ward was still unoccupied by any pharmacist at that time, thus I was requested to be there until an in-house pharmacist came. Well, I was glad as well since I was quite used to the Specialist, Medical Officers, most of the Houseman Doctors, and the staff nurses there.

Entering December, few changes were made. I was to float back to TDM instead of Clinical since there was already an in-house pharmacist. Well, as a birthday treat for myself, I bought myself a ticket to the Beauty & the Beast musical. It may sound pathetic, but yes, I went there all by myself. Second week of December was for my mom as it was her birthday week then. Also, that was the time for me to visit Penang again, to catch up with old-timers. After that, it was back to hospital, and I was told that I were to be lent to the Store to help in the year-end inventory management.

Upon reporting to Store, I was then kicked back to TDM because Store already had too many housemen there. I couldn't be more happy to be back to TDM. However, at times I would go up to OPD to help out when TDM samples weren't that many. As a floater in TDM, I was to guide new TDM housemen, and when new housemen came, I had to teach them how to run the samples. It was very enjoyable I had to say.

Christmas was fun as I had visits from Pussy Keat and Dr. Machine Lim. As usual, Pussy Keat and I would hang out at various malls and try out some food, but this time, we were looking out for Christmas deco's & carols. Best carol so far was the one in Pavilion. Best deco was the one in Mid Valley. When Dr. Machine came, it was more of a shopping spree that I had to endure. Nevertheless, it was of great value to have my best friend around, even for only 2 nights.

Initially I had to work night shift on Christmas Eve, but in the end, thanks to Ezah, I was spared from it. Stupid Lady Guna. Well, it was not of much use anyway since, although I had a date, but it was more like a date to past time. I do not feel like commenting on the date as it was a little boring and stale. New Year's Eve was a lonely one as well. Had to work extended hours, thus no gathering for me. Such was the life of a single boy.
